Developer Re-logic and publisher 505 Games have announced the new release of their hit game Terraria for PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE Arcade. The game is already a highly successful indie game on Steam for PC, and now, console gamers can enjoy Terraria for the first time ever with improved interface, new controls built for console controllers and other new features. Terraria has been compared to a 2D Minecraft numerous times in the past, but the expansive title allows players to find and make powerful spells, weapons and equipment to fight off a wide variety of massive monsters while still having a strong emphasis on mining and scavenging for supplies and building up safe homes and towns. Terraria is now available for PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE Arcade and can be purchased for $14.99 or 1200 Microsoft Points respectively.
