CCP Games Wraps Up EVE Fanfest with Plenty of Big Announcements
Developer CCP Games held EVE Fanfest from Reykjavik, Ireland over the weekend, where the team made many big announcements regarding upcoming releases for the worlds of EVE Online and Dust 514. EVE: The Second Decade Collector's Edition was announced at the event to be released in October 2013 and will include 190-page hard cover book that covers the history of the EVE universe as well as a "Rifter" USB hub, the EVE Symphony CD featuring themes performed by the Icelandic Symphony Orchestra live at the event and The Danger Game board game. Next, the team announced the official release date for Dust 514 on May 14, 2013. It was also announced that CCP Games and Dark Horse publishers would be teaming up for an all new comic series for the EVE universe called EVE: True Stories. Finally, the team revealed at the event an EVE television series is currently in the works from acclaimed filmmaker Baltasar Kormákur.
