Developer Frogwares and publisher Focus Home Interactive are gearing up for a huge reveal of their upcoming release of Crimes & Punishments Sherlock Holmes at E3 this year, and the team has revealed a new tech trailer for the game that takes a look at the impressive visuals for the new game that will take advantage of Epic Games' Unreal Engine 3 for the first time in the Sherlock Holmes' games history. New features for the game will include larger environments with realistic effects such as dynamic lighting, shaders, post-processing effects and animations that will allow the team to show off reflections in water, simulated wind and ripple effects and even realistic lighting that casts shadows that accurately portray similarities to real life counterparts. The game will allow the most realistic graphics yet to let players learn about other characters in the game just by taking a glance at their actions, facial features and body language in the game, and Crime & Punishments Sherlock Holmes should have one of the best storylines as well with the world's greatest detective fighting to clear his name of a crime that evidence would prove he has committed.
