Deep Silver Unveils Third Survival Video for Metro: Last Light

The release of developer 4A Games and publisher Deep Silver's Metro: Last Light is now less than a month away, and the team behind the game has been hard at work releasing new content to hold fans over until May 14. A new trailer has been revealed featuring a third new look at how players will survive in the harsh environments of a post-apocalyptic Moscow. Carefully managing weapons and inventory throughout the game is key with mutant hordes ready to rip players apart around every corner, and air supply and light management is key as well to breathe the on the toxic surface and see what dangerous enemies lurk in the darkness. Metro: Last Light is looking to be one of the best new games of 2013, and you can learn more about the upcoming release by checking out the third Ranger Survival trailer below.

In addition to the new Ranger Survival trailer reveal, publisher Deep Silver has also announced there have been enough preorders for Metro: Last Light to place the game in the elite Gold status. To celebrate the milestone, all preorders for Metro: Last Light will be automatically upgraded to the Limited Edition version of the game that includes exclusive Ranger Mode DLC that offers the most difficult challenge to Metro: Last Light players with no HUD, deadlier enemies and far less resources than ever before. Players will receive the Russian AKSU rifle and 100 military grade rounds to start the game and ease into the difficult new mode. If you haven't yet preordered your copy of Metro: Last Light, there's never been a better time than now to do so.

Metro: Last Light is now available for preorder from most major retailers for the MSRP of $59.99 and is scheduled to release for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on May 14, 2013.
