Publisher EA announced today their hit game SimCity will arrive for Mac on June 11, 2013. Players who pick up the game on Mac will also receive a free copy of the game on PC, as will PC owners be allowed to play the game with the new Mac release. The new release will allow PC and Mac players to enjoy the game together on the same servers, and Lucy Bradshaw, Senior Vice President and General Manager of EA's Maxis label, also stated that the game experience will be just as high quality for Mac gamers as the PC release. SimCity has already sold well over 1.3 million copies on PC since it released last month, and the game just continues to get better with new patches and updates to the original release.
SimCity is now available from all major retailers and can be purchased exclusively for PC and is coming June 11, 2013 for Mac. SimCity is rated E by the ESRB for Mild Violence. For more information on the game, check out the official SimCity website.
