Telltale Games' Poker Night 2 Starts Dealing Next Week on PSN, XBLA and Steam
Developer and publisher Telltale Games has announced their next big release, and it almost seems too good to be true! Poker Night 2 will combine some of the best gaming and pop culture icons into a room for some Texas Hold 'Em fun. Brock Samson, Claptrap, Ash Williams and Sam from the Sam & Max series will all be playable characters in the game, and there will be plenty of other appearances from other characters in the game including GLaDOS and Max. Poker Night 2 will offer up two game modes in Texas Hold 'Em and Omaha and will feature tournaments where plenty of unlockable content is waiting to be earned. In-game unlockables for Poker Night 2 include custom cards, tables and environments. Players can also earn some sweet unlockables for use in Borderlands 2 across all consoles, while PC gamers will get Team Fortress 2 items, Xbox 360 players get Avatar gear and PlayStation 3 owners can nab some cool themes based on the characters in the game as well. Poker Night 2 is now available for preorder and is scheduled to release for PlayStation Network on April 23, 2013 for $9.99, PC via Steam on April 23, 2013 for $4.99 and Xbox LIVE Arcade on April 24, 2013 for 800 Microsoft Points. Poker Night 2 is rated M by the ESRB for Violence, Suggestive Themes, Strong Language, Simulated Gambling & Use of Tobacco.
