Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Blacklist Coming to Nintendo Wii U in August

Nintendo of America and developer and publisher Ubisoft announced today a deal that will see Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Blacklist arrive day one for Nintendo Wii U on August 20, 2013. The new release will see the return of series' hero Sam Fisher on a new mission to take down a deadly group of terrorists that are attempting to wipeout United States interests around the world with a Blacklist attack. Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Blacklist will be one of the most innovative releases in the history of the franchise with plenty of console exclusive features including Kinect voice and motion controls and special Nintendo Wii U features that will allow players to operate high tech gadgets, execute special assassination moves, switch between items in the inventory and more directly from the system's unique gamepad. Ubisoft also recently attended PAX East 2013, and a new video was recently released showing off the game's booth which you can see below to learn more about Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Blacklist before it arrives on August 20!

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Blacklist is now available for preorder from most major retailers for the MSRP of $59.99 and is scheduled to release for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii U and PC on August 20, 2013.
