Trion Worlds Announces In-Game Boosts for Defiance Players
Developer and publisher Trion Worlds recently released their highly anticipated game Defiance across all major platforms, and despite some early server problems for some gamers during the first few days after launch, the game is now running strong and receiving very high review scores from the biggest publications. You can read our thoughts on Defiance very shortly, but needless to say, we're definitely enjoying our time spent so far in this futuristic, science fiction Bay area. The game features massively online, third-person shooting mechanics combined with plenty of missions and loot that have many comparing the game to an MMO version of Borderlands, but with the debut of the Defiance SyFy television show that will incorporate narrative from the game on its way, the sky's the limit for Defiance. Trion Worlds was also nice enough to announce today that some new rewards have arrived for dedicated players that picked the game up on launch. An exclusive launch day Daredevil title and one week of boosted weapon skill, scrip, loot and experience points will be available to Defiance fans, and Trion Worlds also announced a new update would be arriving next week and another in two weeks that will make Defiance an even more enjoyable experience. Main missions are now replayable after completion of the last mission.
Extraction timer upped from 30 to 90 seconds to allow more time for fellow players to revive you.
Optimized objects throughout the world to minimize pop-up and improve overall performance.
Area voice chat has been improved and is now off by default.
Voice and text chat channels can now be muted independently.
Text chat now displays for longer and no longer hides when sprinting or boosting.

Defiance is now available from all major retailers for the MSRP of $59.99 and can be purchased for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
