BioGamer Girl Now Accepting Applications for Summer Internships

Are you looking to break into the video game industry? Do you want real journalism experience with a print magazine? Well look no further! BioGamer Girl Magazine is looking for several writers for unpaid internships. We are currently in need of daily news writers who can submit 5-7 news postings a day (5 days a week) for our website at www.biogamergirl.com. Also, we are looking for feature writers who can create 2-4 original and unique features per week, and video game reviewers that can review several video games a month (5 at minimum). We are especially interested in reviewers who can take on titles across several platforms such as PC, iOS, PlayStation, and Nintendo.

Writers must have some writing experience in order to apply. Please send resume, cover letter and writing samples to biogamergirl@live.com. We only take a handful of interns a year and they must follow strict guidelines. We are only seeking enthusiastic writers who are passionate about the video game industry. Writers must be consistent, hardworking and turn in work in a timely manner. We will work with writers around the world who can submit work through email as designated times each week. Upon completion of the internship, then writers have a chance to have their work appear in BioGamer Girl Magazine and receive tear sheets for their portfolio. Creating a powerful portfolio is very important for journalists looking to make it in the video game industry. We will also provide a letter of recommendation upon completion of the program.

This is a great opportunity for college students looking to gain valuable work experience without have to travel or even leave their dorm room or home. We want to work with you in making your writing dreams come true.

The internship program will start on May 20, 2013. Only SERIOUS and committed applicants need apply. All internship work will be for the online website at www.biogamergirl.com. Only the best applicants of the program will have the opportunity to have their work featured in a future issue of BioGamer Girl Magazine. You will be required to finish the 90 day internship in order to be eligible for print based work.
