Jagged Alliance Online Bringing New Features to Steam this Spring

Developer Cliffhanger Productions in cooperation with Gamigo have announced their hit browser game Jagged Alliance Online will be coming to Steam later this Spring. The new release will add tons of new content to an already popular fantasy MOBA title. Players battle it out in Jagged Alliance Online in exciting player versus player matches with a heavy emphasis on deploying small, heavily armed army units. New features coming to the game include a free-to-play model that allows in-game purchases that won't affect the game's balance, an optional single player campaign, new characters, weapons and more. In total, Jagged Alliance Online will feature more than 40 playable mercenaries, over 500 weapons and items to strengthen characters, over 80 single player missions with over 50 enemies and boss battles, leaderboards to compare players' progress and much more. Read on to learn more about this exciting new announcement and look for the arrival of Jagged Alliance Online for Steam in Spring 2013!

“Jagged Alliance is all about superior tactics (and big guns, of course), so that means providing every player with a chance of winning based on tactical choices, and not any outside factors such as paid items,” says Cliffhanger Productions Founder and Creative Director, Jan Wagner, and continues, “The PvP part is also what makes us stand out from all the Jagged Alliance games, I believe, since no matter how good an AI is, in the end, the true challenge is another player. I am glad we could finally do the game the way we wanted.”

Jagged Alliance Online is scheduled to release exclusively for PC in Spring 2013. Jagged Alliance Online is not yet rated. For more information on the game, check out the official Jagged Alliance Online website.
