Developer and publisher Ubisoft has revealed an extensive new look at their upcoming game Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Blacklist in a new trailer focused on the multiplayer mode Spies vs. Mercs. The highly popular mode is back with plenty of innovations and improvements over its predecessor from Splinter Cell Conviction. The mode places players on two different teams, Spies and Mercenaries, that each come with their own strengths and weaknesses. Spies need to retrieve special data in stages without being caught, and they obviously have an advantage in the stealth department with suppressed weapons and camouflage that makes them all but disappear when sticking to shadows. Mercenaries on the other hand must protect important data from being stolen from their employers. Mercenaries are heavily armed and can easily overpower a spy in a head on confrontation.
