Amarok Productions and Paul Sorvino Teaming Up for Precious Mettle

Amarok Productions has announced their next hit film called Precious Mettle. The upcoming film will star actor Paul Sorvino, who is best known for his role as Paul Cicero in the classic film Goodfellas and more recently as Rotti Largo in Repo! The Genetic Opera. Sorvino stars in the film as Police Commander Frank Walsh on the brink of retirement. Happily ever after doesn't seem to be in the cards for Frank however, who, after losing his wife and daughter in a recent crash, also discovers a heroin addict that may be his daughter from a relationship he had over 26 years ago. To compound all of his problems, Frank learns of the murder and robbery of his best friend and must try to solve the case all while balancing everything life is throwing at him.

Sorvino will be joined onscreen by fellow actors Todd Bridges, Malea Mitchell and Joe Estevez, and the film will be directed by Italian filmmaker Edmond Coisson, who co-wrote the film's script and is also the founder of the Naperville Film Festival. The film's producer, DeAnna Cooper has worked on several high budget films in the past for Fox Studios and New Line Cinema and is the creator of Amarok Productions, so you can be sure of the high quality film to expect here.

Precious Mettle will be filming in Chicago June 4, 2013 through June 23, 2013 in one of the newest film recording hotspots. Other hit films such as director Michael Bay's Transformers 4, Neil Burger's Divergent, the Wachowski brothers' Jupiter Ascending, Chicago Fire, its spin-off Chicago PD and Robert Redford's Chicagoland also feature scenes shot in the same community. Local Chicago talent will be well represented in the film with actors such as Jodi Russell, Andy St. Clair, Yasen Peyankov, Dan Waller, Loren Lazerine, Fernando Albiar, Paul Tinsley, Diane Shaw and Dianne Bischoff on board, so make sure to look for the release of Precious Mettle coming soon!
