From the Press Release
Sony Online Entertainment is proud to announce two future game updates for EverQuest and EverQuest II! The EverQuest: Rain of Fear story reaches its epic conclusion in Heart of Fear, as players confront the final remnants of Cazic-Thule's terrifying power. With the God of Fear dead, adventurers must travel deeper into darkness to destroy the lingering evil power left in the wake of his defeat. The Heart of Fear game update arrives July 16 and features:

  • Powerful class-specific weapons to obtain / upgrade
  • New collections to hunt in the Heart of Fear reservoir
  • New missions, raids and quests to challenge even the most powerful adventurers
  • New achievements rewarded for besting challenges in the Heart of Fear

In EverQuest II's next game update, Darkness Dawns, significant events are taking place in Cobalt Scar. The powerful relic uncovered at the end of Scars of the Awakened (GU66) leads to a new climatic storyline in Darkness Dawns. The world of EQII is about to encounter jaw-dropping changes and players will be integral to the story's direction. Darkness Dawns arrives in Late July and will feature:

  • Fabled Dungeons: New high-level versions of old favorites from the first
