Lionsgate Announces Among Friends and Billy The Kid Coming to DVD, Digital Download and Video on Demand

Lionsgate production company has announced two new titles coming to DVD, Digital Download and Video on Demand beginning August 27, 2013. First up is horror star Danielle Harris' directorial debut in the film Among Friends and starring the Halloween star. Also in the film are actors Christopher Backus, Jennifer Blanc, AJ Bowen and Kane Hodder, known for his work as Jason Voorhees and the film series Hatchet. The film finds a group of friends at an 80s-themed murder mystery party when things take a turn for the worst and the friends find themselves at the mercy of an evil host.

Lionsgate also announced Billy The Kid will be arriving on the same day. This throwback film stars Cody McCarver, Jerry Chesser, Billy Joe Royal and Jason Harbour in the Old West with events inspired by one of the greatest outlaws to ever live. A young man is forced to join with a mysterious bounty hunter for revenge when his mother is killed by a ruthless gang of cowboys. Both films can be purchased for $19.98 and come packed with bonus features including audio commentary from the creators of the film and a music video and outtakes in Billy The Kid.
