Lords of the Fallen Introduces Its Main Protagonist Harkyn

CI Games studio has revealed more information about their upcoming title Lords of the Fallen. We can now take a closer look at the game's protagonist which will be the character Harkyn. Players will be able to customize the game's protagonist with tons of abilities across three unique skill trees. Harkyn has become hated by everyone he knows and marked by society. However, he is the only one that can end the battle with the Fallen God believers. Harkyn will not be the hero you expect and more will be revealed about him along with Lords of the Fallen at this year's E3.

From the Press Release

CI Games studio has revealed the first information about the protagonist in their upcoming action-RPG title LORDS of the FALLEN. In less than a week, during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2013, LORDS of the FALLEN will be revealed to the world for first time in a live gameplay demo showcasing the advanced combat mechanics and a first glimpse into the story of the main character – Harkyn.

Who is Harkyn? The answer to this question will be discovered by each individual player as they step into the boots of the main character. Presented with the opportunity to develop Harkyn according to their play style, gamers will be able to customize their character using dozens of abilities across three diverse and unique skill trees. Players will uncover and learn new secrets and abilities that will further shift the tide of battle in their favor. Hated and marked by society, Harkyn is the only one capable of ending the long battle of the Fallen God believers and those that have abandoned him long time ago.

“Harkyn is not your ordinary hero. Our team is committed to creating a distinct character and a gameplay experience unique to every player, as well as a deep, secretive history that players will be rewarded for upon discovering. We’re excited to show LORDS of the FALLEN, our main character, Harkyn, and the advanced combat mechanics for the first time at E3 next week,” said Tomasz Gop, Executive Producer LORDS of the FALLEN at CI Games.

Lords of the Fallen is a hardcore action-RPG featuring advanced combat systems and robust class skill trees. Set in a richly created fantasy world where the Gods have failed mankind, players will take on the role of a human named Harkyn who sets out on a quest to stand against an apparently unstoppable supernatural force. Players travel across a world that is deeply divided by those that follow, and others that resist, the Fallen God. Along their journey they will be faced with a series of decisions that will alter both the world and their character, thus dramatically impacting the storyline.

Lords of the Fallen will be presented live at the Electronic Entertainment (E3) Expo in Los Angeles, California at the Los Angeles Convention Center from June 11-13, 2013.
