New Strategy Guide Revealed For Shin Megami Tensei IV

Shin Megami Tensei IV will be available later this summer exclusively for Nintendo 3DS. In order to get ready for the battles to come, Prima Games is released a 176 page guide for the game. Read on to learn more.

In Shin Megami Tensei IV, being a samurai of the Eastern Kingdom of Mikado requires intense training and meticulous focus during combat. Fortunately for the samurai-in-training, pre-orders and a limited run of first prints of the game will include a strategy guide to help endure the trials of combat. The 176-page soft-cover guide was developed specially for SMTIV by Prima Games, one of the leading guide-makers for video games.

In addition to walkthroughs, charts, maps, combat tips and fusion tables, the lengthy guide also contains select pre-production artwork of the game's characters, designed by Masayuki Doi.

Several pages of the strategy guide are available to view here. To reiterate - all pre-orders, regardless of retailer, will include the strategy guide, a component of the Limited Edition Box Set. Availability for non-pre-orders is not guaranteed.

Shin Megami Tensei IV will be exclusive to the Nintendo 3DS system and sold as a premium title beginning this summer. The game is rated M for Mature by the ESRB. More details will be revealed in the future, with updates on the official SMTIV website.

Pre-orders will guarantee the collectible box set, which includes a 176-page starter strategy guide and art book, soundtrack CD, and collectible slipcase.
