R.I.P.D. Gets Official Game for PlayStation Network, Xbox LIVE Arcade and Steam in July

Developer Old School Games and publisher Atlus USA announced today an upcoming downloadable title for the new Universal Pictures film R.I.P.D. The film will arrive in theaters nationwide on July 19, 2013. The film stars actors Jeff Bridges and Ryan Reynolds as two lawmen that battle against the undead to keep the public safe and oblivious to the things that go bump in the night. The game will feature authentic enemies, weapons and environments taken straight from the movie and give gamers a reason to check out both the game and film when they are released.

Matthew Karch, President of Old School Games talked about being the new development team for the game stating, "Being able to create the game for the R.I.P.D. movie is a huge honor. Our past development experience in the action-shooter genre is a tailor-made fit to adapt this exciting film to the interactive space."

Like most buffets, it’s a roll of the dice: hit the line on a good day and you’ll be full and happy; catch it on an...
