Webzen Announces MU Chronicle R and Holds Facebook Contest To Celebrate

Webzen has announced MU Online with full details arriving on June 27th. The company has revealed the title will be referred to as MU Chronicle R until this time and the title is preparing to launch closed beta testing very soon. The launch of MU Chronicle R on the Webzen website will be the first-ever release on all servers across the globe. To celebrate the upcoming release, Webzen is hosting a contest on the official MU Chronicle R Facebook page and all those who 'like' the page will be entered into a raffle to win a bunch of great prizes! WEBZEN Inc., a global leader in next-generation free-to-play games, announces the worldwide release of a thrilling new adaptation of the highly-acclaimed 3D Fantasy RPG MU ONLINE. Full details and the game’s official title will be revealed on June 27, 2013. Until then, the MMORPG will be referred to as MU CHRONICLE R.

MU CHRONICLE R is in its final stages of development and is preparing to launch closed beta testing. In contrast to its predecessor, MU ONLINE, the game focuses on leveling up and PvP interaction with other players. To promote MU CHRONICLE R’s new PvP-oriented content, WEBZEN will host a massive global PvP tournament for cash prizes after the game’s debut.

The launch of MU CHRONICLE R on WEBZEN.com will mark the game’s first-ever release on all servers across the globe. In order to provide localized service for each country, WEBZEN plans to recruit user Game Masters from each region and reward the top GM with prizes.
