Win a Copperhead Movie Pack Plus Free Summer Issue of BioGamer Girl

2013 marks the 150th anniversary of the Civil War and The Battle of Gettysburg, and there is no better way to celebrate this momentous occasion than by seeing the release of the upcoming film Copperhead. The film comes from director Ron Maxwell, known for his other historical films including Gettysburg and Gods and Generals, and stars Billy Campbell as Abner Beech. The young dairy farmer lives in upstate New York, hates the idea of slavery and dislikes war just as much, but no one living in the United States remains untouched by the Civil War for long, so Abner joins up with the Copperheads to oppose the war that is tearing the country apart.

Copperhead is a historically accurate film that is sure to please history aficionados itching for a war film fix this Summer. The film will arrive in theaters on June 28, 2013, but fans can now win a special Copperhead movie pack that includes an official Copperhead movie poster hand signed by director Ron Maxwell, a copy of the Copperhead companion novel from author Harold Frederic and movie theater cash redeemable for one free admission to the film. Fans can use the official Copperhead blog app seen below to test their knowledge of the Civil War and send emails to biogamergirlcontests@hotmail.com telling us your favorite Civil War historical fact for a chance to win. One winner will be chosen to receive a Copperhead movie pack plus our free summer issue of BioGamer Girl, so send those emails in today!
