Assassin's Creed II is the first game in the legendary series to feature Assassin Ezio Auditore as a main protagonist while also continuing the future tale of Desmond Miles and crew in present time as the fight against the dangerous Templar continues into the 21st century. Assassin's Creed II was the second release in the series and featured many new innovations for the series including a larger world, improved combat and in-game economy that allowed players to purchase new weapons, armor and other important items.
Xbox LIVE is also holding a sale for the Assassin's Creed series for the rest of the month as well where players can pick up Assassin's Creed, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and Assassin's Creed Revelations for $14.99 each with Games on Demand. Other DLC for the series will see a drop in price as well including the Assassin's Creed III Season Pass with 33% savings at 1600 Microsoft Points.
