CI Games has announced that Alien Rage, the sci-fi first-person-shooter putting the challenge back in genre, will invade Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network and PC worldwide on September 24th. A new cinematic trailer has also been released today which sets up the ominous backstory and the hunt for the ultimate power source: promethium. Capable of powering an entire planet or completely destroying it, it's up to players to prevent the universe's prize of promethium from falling into the wrong hands and taking down everything that comes in their way.
In Alien Rage players will unleash a fury of powerful weapons as they blast their way through armies of Alien forces hell-bent on taking them down. Battling through 14 intense levels, players will be able to discover and equip ten epic weapons each designed with two unique, strategic firing modes to prepare to face a barrage of enemies and unstoppable mega-sized bosses that will push players' FPS skills to the limit. With unforgiving enemy AI, players must utilize tactical maneuvers to not only get an advantage in battle but to simply survive the intense old-school styled shooter experience in Alien Rage.
