EverQuest's Rain of Fear Gets Darker With Heart of Fear Update

EverQuest's Rain of Fear expansion has received its final update today with "Heart of Fear." The new update will offer tons of new features which includes new class-specific weapons, new collections to hunt, new missions, and much more!

From the Press Release
The 'Cazic-Thule' saga concludes today with the launch of Heart of Fear, the final game update for EverQuest's Rain of Fear expansion. In the main Heart of Fear storyline, originally introduced in the House of Thule expansion (2010), the God of Fear has finally been defeated, ending the three-year epic which also spanned the Veil of Alaris (2011) and Rain of Fear (2012) expansions.

In Heart of Fear, the final remnants of Cazic-Thule's power will be confronted as players adventure deeper into darkness to destroy the concentrated evil left behind by the God of Fear. Massive creatures of nightmare must also be defeated, with players eventually discovering what's become of Cazic-Thule himself!

Heart of Fear Features:
  • Powerful new class-specific weapons
  • New collections to hunt in the Heart of Fear reservoir
  • New missions, raids and quests to challenge even the most powerful adventurers
  • New achievements rewarded for besting challenges in the Heart of Fear

Heart of Fear is now available as a free game update to the EverQuest: Rain of Fear expansion. While Heart of Fear marks the conclusion of a major storyline, there is much more to come. In fact, initial details concerning EverQuest's upcoming 20th expansion will be revealed next month, August 1-4, at SOE Live in Las Vegas.
