Guncraft To Feature Full Twitch Integration

Exato Game Studios and Reverb Publishing have revealed that Guncraft will feature full Twitch integration were gamers can launch Twitch directly from the game. Players will be able to live stream their gameplay in Guncraft through real-time broadcasting and show off their skills in matches, world creations and more.

From the Press Release
Exato Game Studios and Reverb Publishing announced today that the upcoming voxel-based shooter Guncraft will be incorporating live streaming to Twitch, the world’s leading video platform and community for gamers. Using Twitch’s Software Development Kit (SDK), gamers everywhere will be able to natively launch Twitch directly from Guncraft for real-time broadcasting of epic matches, revealing wild world creations, and showcasing custom-designed weapons from the exclusive Gun Smithing feature, all using no additional hardware or software.

“I’m buzzing to seeing how much more Twitch integration brings the community closer together,” says John Getty, lead developer for Guncraft and founder of Exato Game Studios. “Now all of our players can broadcast their matches and epic headshots with no hurdles. Guncraft has always been about creating and sharing, and Twitch makes this even better.”

The Twitch SDK will be fully incorporated with a July 11 launch date patch on Desura, GOG, Green Man Games, Rain Digital Games, and on the Guncraft Website. Having recently been Greenlit by the Steam community, Guncraft will be launching on that platform later this summer.

In celebration of Guncraft’s impending launch, the development teams will be utilizing the Twitch SDK to live stream a three day “Block and Loaded Marathon” from 12 PM EDT, July 8 through midnight EDT, July 11, after which players will be able to download, then update, the launch build of Guncraft in order to live stream through Twitch immediately.

In addition, Exato Game Studios is creating a Twitch character skin that will be included in-game with the Twitch patch. In anticipation of the impending release, players can download the on-going Beta, and jump into the wildest and most refined community-driven voxel-based shooter of 2013.

Marrying the addictive nature of block building sandbox games with the speed and competition of modern first-person shooters, Guncraft takes voxel gaming to a whole new level. Players can create maps and arenas based on anything imaginable, and once complete, utterly destroy them with bullets, bombs, grenades, tanks, helicopters and even laser swords. In the heat of battle soldiers can create custom blockades and fortresses instantaneously. So watch out – just when you think you’re safe, enemies can tunnel through walls and dig through floors to ambush you from behind. With numerous wickedly entertaining game modes and more entertaining updates planned, get ready to “Block and Load”.
