An 8-bit replica of the iconic Jason Voorhees from the classic video game Friday the 13th will be given away to some lucky attendees at San Diego Comic-Con courtesy of NECA. NECA has teamed up with New Line Cinema and San Diego Comic-Con to recreate the 1989 NES version of Jason Voorhees from the infamous video game that was truly the stuff of every young gamer's nightmares!
The figure has been created to a limited number and will be available July 17-21, 2013 at the National Entertainment Collectibles Association booth #3145. The re-creation of the character has been modeled to accurately replicate his NES counterpart including the bright neon hues that actually glow in the dark. The figure comes packed in a box built as a duplicate of the classic NES box for the Friday the 13th game and includes special art on the inside taken straight from a memorable screenshot and location in the game. Check out the trailer for the action figure below to learn more and get yours only at San Diego Comic-Con next week!
