Pre-order Rise of the Triad Before July 31st To Receive Free Games With Apogee Throwback Pack

Apogee Software and Interceptor Entertainment has revealed that fans can pick up Rise of the Triad on PC on July 31st for the price of $14.99. Starting today, those who pre-order the game will receive the Apogee Throwback Pack for free which includes the original Rise of the Triad: Dark War and Extreme Rise of the Triad expansion pack.

In one fell swoop, Apogee and Interceptor have simultaneously dropped a ludicrous nostalgia bomb and one helluva pre-order incentive for the upcoming Rise of the Triad remake:

Beginning July 1st, pre-order Rise of the Triad and get the Apogee Throwback Pack for FREE, and available for immediate download. The Apogee Throwback Pack, a collection that includes the original classic Rise of the Triad: Dark War and Extreme Rise of the Triad expansion pack, as well as Blake Stone: Aliens of Gold and Blake Stone: Planet Strike, is available NOW for $9.99, but is FREE with your Rise of the Triad pre-order.

Rise of the Triad is the Unreal Engine 3-powered remake of Apogee’s classic over-the-top shooter. It retains all of the original’s crazy weapons, game modes and secrets, revamped with hot new visuals, improved gameplay, achievements, multiplayer leaderboards and so much more.
