Runner 2 Adds Indie Inspired "Good Friends Character Pack" for Steam

BIT.TRIP Presents: Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien, more conveniently known as Runner 2 has received the all new Good Friends Character Pack for download on Steam. The new DLC adds characters from many popular indie titles to the cast of playable characters from the running and rhythm title that is easily among one of the best in 2013.



The new cast of characters included in the Good Friends Character Pack includes Raz from Psychonauts, Quote from Cave Story, Josef from Machinarium, Dr. Fetus from Super Meat Boy, Atlas from Portal 2 Invisible Commander Video from the original BIT.TRIP and the main protagonist from Spelunky. Similar to the recent character pack DLC for Spelunky exclusively on Xbox LIVE Arcade, the content only adds character and no new maps, but it can be downloaded for a very cost friendly sum. Fans can pick up the Good Friends Character Pack currently on the Steam Summer Sale for only $2.

Runner 2 is now available for PlayStation Network, Xbox LIVE Arcade, Nintendo eShop and Steam and can be purchased for $14.99 or 1200 Microsoft Points. Runner 2 is rated E by the ESRB. For more information on the game, check out the official Runner 2 website.
