Secret Files: Sam Peters Arriving This September for PC

Deep Silver has announced that the point & click adventure Secret Files: Sam Peters will arrive on September 27th for PC. Fans will enter the shoes of a journalist who must save her own life by escaping from a remote island and getting back to the mainland. What would you do for that next hot story? Would you die for it?!

From the Press Release
A Secret Files spin-off with the popular Sam Peters is the next project to be released by the proven team, Animation Arts and Deep Silver! In Secret Files 2, the journalist must save herself and get from an island back to the mainland – but that is only the beginning. A whole new adventure is starting for Sam!

The reporter is already on the trail of the next hot story: Scientists in Africa have discovered changes in the genetic codes of aquatic animals. Their home, Lake Bosumtwi, was formed over a million years ago through the impact of a meteor. Could it be that alien lifeforms made it to Earth that way?

That would make a sensational front-page story for Sam and her grumpy editor-in-chief at the science magazine "Uncharted". But it actually looks like Sam will have worse problems in the jungle than the lack of a duty-free shop next to the airstrip in the bush: The legends of the Ashanti in Ghana tell of humanlike creatures that lurk in the trees at night, drag off their victims to their dens and suck their blood: the Asanbosam. When an expedition disappears in the rainforest, Sam must decide how far she is prepared to go to bag this incredible story...

The point & click adventure Secret Files: Sam Peters will offer several hours of playing time and is going to be available starting September 27, 2013, to be downloaded for € 9,99 Euro (MSRP).
