Square Enix Offers a Comparison for Final Fantasy X HD and the Original

Developer and publisher Square Enix has released a new video showing the difference in picture quality between the upcoming Final Fantasy X HD and the original game released exclusively for PlayStation 2 back in 2001. The side-by-side comparison allows fans to easily notice the finer details present in the upcoming release of Final Fantasy X HD by showing the opening moments of one of the greatest role-playing games of all-time as our heroes take a rest and share their story with gamers in a very iconic gaming moment.

Square Enix also confirmed players who preorder the upcoming release will be automatically upgraded to Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Limited Edition that includes concept art packaging and an exclusive artbook featuring a look at the development of Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 that has never been seen. The new collection will feature both of these classic games on one disc for the first time ever and allow fans to rediscover the story of Tidus, Yuna and the other heroes in the world of Spira.

Square Enix also confirmed a PlayStation Vita release is still on its way, but little information has been released for this version of Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD. Read on for more details and check out the new trailer for Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD below to learn more!

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD is now available for preorder from most major retailers for the MSRP of $39.99 and is scheduled to release exclusively for PlayStation 3 later this year. Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD is not yet rated. For more information on the game, check out the official Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD website.
