Age of Wushu Gets First DLC "Legends of Mount Hua" on August 8th

Age of Wushu is now available to play for free with a special edition available for $19.99. Snail Games has announced that the MMO will release its first DLC "Legends of Mount Hua" with new events, combat features and more on August 8th.

Next Thursday (August 8), Snail Games' martial arts MMO Age of Wushu will be releasing its first North American expansion -- Legends of Mount Hua. The free downloadable expansion will introduce new story events, combat features and a special competition to the game. In addition, the pack will also include a new battleground, titled Youyun Sixteen Prefectures Battle Arena, where players can test their combat skills alongside more than 80 other players.

Age of Wushu: Legends of Mount Hua Features:

  • Mount Hua Competition - The top players on each server fight amongst each other for special titles, costumes and the framed Heavenly Sword.
  • Yanmen Pass - A new instance that takes players all over China through five different storylines, each with significantly different gameplay.
  • Youyun Sixteen Prefectures Battle Arena - Compete in an 80+ player battle arena filled with various individual tasks and multiple ways to gain victory.
  • Martial Brothers System - Bridging the gap between old and new players, this system allows lower level players to quickly power up, as well as enjoy discounts on learning skills.
  • Jianghu Status System - After proving their skills and making their name known by major Jianghu factions and NPCs, players can spread their fame far enough to earn titles, costumes, missions, items and other valuable rewards.
  • Jianghu Hero & Treasure System - Players can fill up their Heroic Bar and challenge Jianghu Heroes to earn unique treasures, all of which can be equipped to the players character for various stat bonuses.
  • Jianghu Gratitude & Revenge System - Upon improving their relationships with certain NPCs, players can ask their new friends to accompany them through forbidden instances or participate in team practice.
