Call of Duty: Ghosts Gets Two Special Edition Releases and Preorder Bonus Map

The Call of Duty: Ghosts multiplayer reveal event is live! There have already been plenty of new announcements from the event, but many players will be thrilled to learn about the new special editions versions of the game and a preorder exclusive map that will available for the game.

Players will be able to pick up a basic edition of Call of Duty: Ghosts as well as the Hardened Edition of the game that comes with exclusive steel book packaging, a Ghosts themed paracord strap, the Call of Duty: Ghosts soundtrack, the preorder map Free Fall and free access to the game's Season Pass and the four multiplayer expansions coming to Call of Duty: Ghosts over the next year. A Prestige Edition of the game was also announced that will come with all of the above content plus an exclusive 1080p tactical camera and carrying case as well.

Players who preorder any version of the game will gain access to the Free Fall multiplayer map. The stage is set in a crumbling skyscraper that has literally toppled onto another nearby skyscraper. Players will run through elevator shafts and battle through destroyed office buildings all while trying not to fall off the stage. Call of Duty: Ghosts is now available for preorder for the MSRP of $59.99 and is scheduled to release for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC and next generation consoles on November 5, 2013.
