Developer and publisher Ubisoft will be releasing their new game Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Blacklist for all major consoles and PC starting next week, and the team behind the game has unleashed a new trailer that shows off some of the Nintendo Wii U exclusive controls utilizing the Wii U gamepad to hold players over until the game's official release.
Splinter Cell Blacklist will offer exclusive features across the different versions of the game including Kinect voice commands on Xbox 360 and special Wii U gamepad support. For the Nintendo release, players will be allowed to utilize the gamepad to quickly manage items in Sam Fisher's inventory with a quick tap. This lets the secret agent quickly switch between lethal and non-lethal weaponry on the fly to take out unsuspecting enemies. Another cool new feature allows Sam to use his Snake Camera to peek under doors and see the inside of a room to tag enemies and get a layout of the room without ever being detected with the use of the gamepad. Sam will also be able to tag enemies with other enemy on the Wii U gamepad including special sonar goggles that shows enemies even in the darkest of areas.
