From the Press Release
Ubisoft brings the world’s No. 1 dance game franchise*, Just Dance, to life with a return to New York’s Fall Fashion week, featuring all-new designs on the runway at the Just Dance with Boy Meets Girl fashion show at STYLE360 on September 12, 2013.

Known for drawing inspiration from the biggest musical and fashion influences in pop culture, Boy Meets Girl® designer Stacy Igel created her entire Spring 2014 line around the style, look and energy of Just Dance 2014, the next highly anticipated installment in the Just Dance franchise due out on October 8, 2013 and featuring music from artists including Nicki Minaj, One Direction, Psy, and more. VIPs and celebrity guests, including Brittany Snow and Sloane Stephens will walk the runway and Austin Mahone will perform live during the show.

“I’ve been a fan of the Just Dance brand for years, so I jumped at the opportunity to create a line completely inspired by the game’s design, music, and energetic feel,” explained designer Stacy Igel. “I’ve always been interested in how technology and pop culture influence fashion, and the Just Dance franchise is a perfect example of how the two are intertwined. Above all, I wanted my line to reflect the fun, party-like vibe of the game—it’s impossible not to feel happy when you play it! As an artist, it’s truly wonderful to work with a brand that appreciates and encourages the interconnected nature of fashion and design in all its forms.”

“For the past few years, Just Dance has been a mainstay in the pop culture consciousness. The combination of the hottest songs and trend-shaping outfits makes New York Fashion Week an obvious platform for our brand,” said Carrie Feigel Bischke, associate director of marketing at Ubisoft. “The show we put on last year was an unbelievable experience, but it was just the start. We can’t wait to show off the evolution of the Just Dance franchise and how Just Dance 2014 inspired Stacy’s collection.”

The Just Dance with Boy Meets Girl show will take place at 6:30PM on September 12, 2013 at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City.

Ubisoft is also providing fans with a sneak peek of line’s inspiration, design and development with a video series, hosted on Just Dance’s YouTube channel, beginning later this month. To learn more about the designer, Stacy Igel, check out the collaboration’s teaser video.

Buffet Bliss or Southern Swing-and-a-Miss? A Bite at Kacey’s in Huntsville

Walk through the doors of Kacey’s Country Cooking in Huntsville and you’re greeted by the comforting smell of fried chicken, collard greens, and cornbread that could double as perfume for any true Southerner. This is where the buffet line reigns supreme, the sweet tea flows endlessly, and dessert is always just an arm’s reach away. For many locals, Kacey’s is a comfort food paradise. Fans brag about the fried green tomatoes, juicy pork chops, slow-cooked beef tips, and banana pudding that deserves its own holiday. The staff are another highlight—quick with refills, friendly enough to feel like family, and the kind of people who can make a buffet feel like Sunday dinner at grandma’s. But Kacey’s has its critics too. Some diners rave about “the best bang for your buck in town,” while others complain that the food sometimes veers into “straight-from-the-can” territory. Like most buffets, it’s a roll of the dice: hit the line on a good day and you’ll be full and happy; catch it on an...

Step Back in Time at Ole Towne Café in Ardmore

If you’ve ever wished you could step into your grandma’s kitchen and smell fresh biscuits baking while bacon sizzles in the skillet, Ole Towne Café in Ardmore, Alabama, is the next best thing. Tucked along Main Street, this little diner doesn’t just serve food—it serves nostalgia. Walking in, you’re greeted with that small-town charm you just can’t fake. The walls are lined with country décor, the coffee flows like a friendly neighbor’s gossip, and everyone seems to know everyone else. Even if you’re new in town, you’ll feel like family after your first cup of coffee. The menu is straight out of a Southern comfort cookbook. The catfish plates are fried to crispy perfection, the hamburger steaks come smothered in gravy that tastes like Sunday supper, and the breakfast plates are legendary—big fluffy pancakes, biscuits as big as your hand, and hash browns that come golden and crispy.
