MechWarrior Online Adds Third-Person View Option

Piranha Games and Infinite Games Publishing has revealed that MechWarrior Online now contains the third-person view option to add to the long list of new features before the game launches next month on September 17th.

MechWarrior Online pilots across the Inner Sphere now have the option to change their perspective on the battlefield as developer Piranha Games and publishing Infinite Games Publishing announce the highly anticipated “third person” view today in the hit game, MechWarrior Online (www.mwomercs.com.) The third-person view option has been one many new fans of MechWarrior Online have been waiting for, coming hot on the heels of last week’s massive 12 vs. 12 combat update. MechWarrior Online is currently in Open Beta and launches next month on September 17th. More details to follow on the event.


The game’s publisher also revealed details behind an epic red-carpet launch event and tournament planned for fans in the San Francisco bay area on September 26th at Mezzanine Club. MechWarrior Online is hitting 1.0 status and we’re throwing a little party! Taking place at one of San Francisco’s premiere club venues, the biggest and best ‘Mech event of 2013 will feature the first MechWarrior Online Invitational, DJs, Prizes, food and drinks and the chance to celebrate giant robot-stomping goodness with the developers from Piranha Games.
