Microsoft Offers Cross-Platform Season Pass Access for Xbox 360 and Xbox One
Microsoft has announced a great new promotion for gamers looking to make the transfer from Xbox 360 to Xbox One in the near future. Players who purchase Season Pass content for any game on Xbox 360 will also receive the same Season Pass on Xbox One free of charge. This will allow players to easily upgrade their games to the next generation of consoles without having to pay double for the same downloadable content.
In similar news, GameStop is allowing gamers to purchase select Xbox 360 games during the promotional period and trade up to Xbox One versions of the same game when they release later this year for only $9.99 more. The promotion is only available for Power Up Rewards members, and the Xbox 360 game must be traded in before December 31, 2013 to be eligible. The games included in this special promotion are Madden NFL 25, FIFA 14, Battlefield 4, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and Call of Duty: Ghosts.
