Parrot Launches Extreme Drone Video Contest

A new contest that runs from now until September 15th will allow one lucky winner to win a pair of Parrot Zik Bluetooth headphones. To enter, just use the GPS Flight Recorder and post your footage to YouTube. Read on to learn more.


About the Parrot Extreme Drone Contest
Now through September 15, 2013, drone enthusiasts will have a chance to put the latest features of the AR.Drone 2.0 to work by tracking their flight using the GPS Flight Recorder app and posting videos to You Tube filmed with the on-board HD camera. The winner will be chosen from among the submissions based on the uniqueness of the drone¹s flight and the shooting location. The contest prize, one of the most powerful long-range Wi-Fi extenders on the market from Amped Wireless, will give the winner the ability to drastically increase the flight radius of the AR.Drone 2.0. The winner will also receive a pair of Parrot Zik Bluetooth headphones with noise cancelling features, touch control so you can switch songs and answer calls by touching the headphones and Parrot concert hall effect sound quality. To submit an entry for the contest, simply use the GPS Flight Recorder to mark the starting and ending locations of a flight. Post the footage from that flight to You Tube and tag the video with ³ARDRONEGPSCONTEST².
