The release of developer Overkill and publisher 505 Games' Payday 2 has arrived. The game is now ready for digital download on PlayStation Network and Steam and has shipped for retailers nationwide in North America. Designed from the ground up to be the ultimate four player, co-operative experience, Payday 2 features four new skill trees -- the charismatic Mastermind, the heavy Enforcer, the gadget-crazy Technician and the super stealthy Ghost -- which, alongside a versatile weapon modification system and all new mask creator, gives players the chance to live out their fantasy of being a career criminal.
Payday 2 is priced at $29.99 on Steam and $39.99 on PlayStation Network, for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Also available on Steam is the "Career Criminal Edition" priced at $49.99 and at retail there is a "Collector's Edition" priced at $59.99. A Games on Demand version will also become available shortly on the Xbox Live® online entertainment network from Microsoft for Xbox 360.
