PennyPop's Battle Camp Coming to iOS Devices

PennyPop has announced that fans will be able to pick up Battle Camp for iOS devices on August 14th. The monster-catching MMO is set on a mysterious island filled with dangers around every corner.

From the Press Release
PennyPop is proud to announce the launch of Battle Camp for iOS devices on August 14, 2013. Battle Camp marks a revolutionary step forward for mobile gaming. Built on top of a full-fledged virtual world, Battle Camp is the first massively social mobile game where users can play with real people in real time.

Set on a mysterious island filled with ancient evils, Battle Camp is a monster-catching Puzzle MMO. Players bust gems as they battle and capture legendary creatures. Banding together in Troops with fellow rangers, it's the survival of the fittest as teams tackle live events to crush raid bosses, wage Troop Wars, and dominate in real-time PvP.

“What really separates us from other mobile games is our persistent virtual world,” said Don Parker, Game Designer of Battle Camp. “Instead of the tired standard of UI-based gameplay where players tap to quest and attack other players who aren’t really there, Battle Camp is built on top of a massive virtual world where players interact with real people in real time, chat live with people all around the world, join together with friends for synchronous raids, and clash with rivals in real-time PvP.”

“Our goal is for Battle Camp to become a multi-year, evergreen title,” said Gordon Su, co-founder of PennyPop. “That is why we built Battle Camp around deep social interactions and episodic, event-driven content. They both never get old. You don’t just play through the story and quit. You join the community and the relationships you build are why you come back.”

Android and Facebook versions of the game will be released in the Fall of 2013. To learn more about Battle Camp, please visit the official website at http://battlecamp.pennypop.com/.
