See the Launch Trailer for Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Blacklist Today

The launch of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Blacklist won't arrive for another week, but developer and publisher Ubisoft has unleashed the launch trailer for the game early. The new trailer shows off some of the new features coming to the game series including a new campaign, a cooperative campaign for up to two players and the new Spies vs. Mercs Mode where two teams face off to see who is the best at their job.

Preorders are still available for Splinter Cell Blacklist, and many retailers are offering unique incentives to purchase the game from their chain locations. GameStop preorders unlock the Covert Hunter Pack that comes with Tactical Crossbow with Gas Arrows, the 4E Eclipse Ops Suit and VSS Sniper Rifle. Walmart preorders are good to unlock the Protect and Defend Pack that comes with the M1014 Shotgun and MBS Boots. Players that preorder with Best Buy receive the Run and Gun Pack that features the Vector .45 ACP and Tactical Gloves. Finally, Amazon preorders get the Suppress and Assault Pack with the Fully Customized F40 Pistol and 416 Assault Rifle. All preorders also unlock the Upper Echelon Pack that comes packed with the Upper Echelon Suit, Gold Sonar Goggles and the bonus co-op mission, Dead Coast. Hardcore fans of the series can still upgrade to the Paladin Multi-Mission Aircraft Edition of Splinter Cell Blacklist to get plenty of special edition items including a remote controlled C-1478 Paladin Multi-Mission Aircraft. Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Blacklist is now available for preorder from most major retailers for the MSRP of $59.99 and is scheduled to release for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii U and PC on August 20, 2013.
