Serial Killer Seeks Revenge In New Crime Thriller "Time Killer"

Are you a fan of crime thrillers and looking for that next dark adventure? Todd M. Thiede's debut novel "Time Killer" will have players stepping into the story of two young detectives trying to track down a murderer. Read on.

From the Press Release
Ever been next in line behind the person paying for their mocha latte in pennies? For the serial killer in Todd M. Thiede’s debut novel, Time Killer, it’s time for payback.

Thiede probes readers dark thoughts with graphic suspense from the first page to the last in this police procedural novel. The first murder rocks the city. The entire Bjornson family—except the father, Stephen—has been brutally murdered, and the killer has left a message behind, written in the victim’s blood: Don’t Waste People’s Time. It’s a grizzly start for two young detectives who’ve just become partners. But Max Larkin and Jesse Fairlane put their personal distaste for each other aside and start concentrating on how to find the killer and keep him from striking again.

“Everyone, at one point or another in their lives, has experienced someone wasting their time with no regard to their feelings,” explained author Todd M. Thiede. “One man is just taking his feelings way too far."

Excerpt From Time Killer, p.1 “He tries to stay calm, but his mind and heart are racing. He slowly tries to raise each arm and finds that he is tied down to the bed with duct tape across his chest, torso and legs. With his arms pinned to his sides, all he can do is turn his head far enough to the left to see his wife, Gwen, is still there, but she is also taped to the bed.”

This is where the buffet line reigns supreme, the sweet tea flows endlessly, and dessert is always just an arm’s reach away. For many locals, Kacey’s is a comfort food paradise. Fans brag about the fried green tomatoes, juicy pork chops, slow-cooked beef tips, and banana pudding that deserves its own holiday. The staff are another highlight—quick with refills, friendly enough to feel like family, and the kind of people who can make a buffet feel like Sunday dinner at grandma’s. But Kacey’s has its critics too. Some diners rave about “the best bang for your buck in town,” while others complain that the food sometimes veers into “straight-from-the-can” territory. Like most buffets, it’s a roll of the dice: hit the line on a good day and you’ll be full and happy; catch it on an...
