Skylanders SWAP Force Dark Edition Revealed by Activision

The all new Skylanders SWAP Force Dark Edition has been revealed by developer Toys for Bob and publisher Activision and will only be available at participating GameStop locations while supplies last. The special edition version of the game will include five dark versions of favorite characters from the game that include Dark Spyro, Dark Washbuckler, Dark Blast Zone, Dark Slobber Tooth and Dark Stealth Elf. The game also comes packed with special packaging that includes a large poster featuring artwork from all three Skylanders video games in the series.

The new sequel for one of the most popular video games around will add plenty of new features to the series including the ability to swap the top and bottom halves of the 16 new Swap Force characters to create truly unique monsters to battle with in-game. The new title will also boast some impressive new HD graphics, a new world, additional puzzles and a new ability to jump and explore more of the game world than ever before. Skylanders SWAP Force is shaping up to be one of the biggest upcoming releases this holiday season, so make sure to preorder your copy of the Dark Edition at GameStop today!

Skylanders SWAP Force is now available for preorder from most major retailers for the MSRP of $74.99 and is scheduled to release for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii U, Nintendo Wii and Nintendo 3DS on October 13, 2013.
