The Race is on in New Gameplay Trailer for Dying Light

An extended gameplay trailer has been revealed for the new Techland and WB Games title, Dying Light. The new game will combine elements seen in games such as the Techland series, Dead Island, with running elements seen in the game Mirror's Edge to create a unique and truly horrifying game set in the zombie apocalypse. Players can expect to get their hands on the game when it releases for consoles and PC later in 2014.

The new trailer features 12 minutes of unedited gameplay captured straight from the game that shows off many of the survival horror elements, parkour-inspired acrobatics and combat players can expect to see in the game's full release. Dying Light is all about survival, and players must race against the setting sun to leave safety to find much needed supplies and hurry back before darkness arrives and the zombie hordes become far more dangerous than during the day. Players can get a sneak peek at all the open-world adventure will have to offer players in terms of exploration as well as a look at some of the weapons scattered around the game world that will be the only protection from zombies and dangerous survivors alike. Dying Light is now available for preorder from most major retailers for the MSRP of $59.99 and is scheduled to release for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC in 2014. Dying Light is not yet rated. For more information on the game, check out the official Dying Light website.
