Breaking Bad's RJ Mitte and Other Celebs Attend 7th Annual Eco Emmys "Empowering Women" Pre-Emmys Party

LA film and television producer Debbie Durkin hosted the Eco Emmys "Empowering Women" pre-emmy party which honored the nominees and presenters of this year's 2013 Emmy Awards. The event featured live entertainment, catered food and a guest list of well-known celebrities. A few of the guests included True Blood's Kristina Anapau,  Dexter's Bethany Joy Lenz and Breaking Bad's RJ Mitte to name a few. Read on.

LA's leading sustainable film and television producer Debbie Durkin hosted her end of summer 7th Annual Eco Emmys "Empowering Women" pre-Emmys Party honoring the 2013 Emmy Award Nominees and Presenters, Women in the Arts, and those who support them. This lavish eco-friendly event took place at the historic Pickford Mansion in Hancock Park, where Durkin showcased luxury lifestyle and sustainable products, while raising awareness for the event's charity partners, The Lucy Pet Foundation and WOW Voices (With Our Words, Inc.).


The party was catered by local L.A. restaurant Fresh & Meaty Burgers, who provided on-site fresh turkey, veggie, or beef burgers and amazing seasoned fries with vegan ice cream and AVO bowls provided by Organic Oasis. Guests also enjoyed complimentary signature organic cocktails from MAYA Tequila, and cholesterol-and-gluten free Coco Libre Organic Coconut Water. On display were exquisite high-end fashions from MK Marisa Kenson Collections, custom jewelry and belts by Deborah Gaspar Jewelry Designs, luggage collections provided by Travelers' Choice Travelware, Absolute Vital Care Bodyworks (massage by L.A.'s neckwork expert), Canine Caviar (grain-free and alkaline-based pet food), DROOL (dog walking, sitting, and loving care), HAI MP3 (hairstyling flat iron with internal MP3 player), Iobella USA - Fitness (body-shaping spa), Justin's Organic Peanut Butter Cups, Minky Couture (made-in-USA luxury blankets), Marjorie's Bazaar (handmade leather shoes for men and women), Under Canvas Group (Glamping in Moab Utah Under Canvas and Yellowstone Under Canvas), Flaunter App (an app for gym rats and fitness enthusiasts), The Spice Lab (Himalayan Salt shot glasses), Serengeti Eyewear (world's best driving sunglasses).

Live music was provided while our WireImage "Empowering Women of the Arts" Celebrity Portrait Gallery, presented by Marjorie's Bazaar, was a "must stop" for Celebrities in support of the cause. M.A.C. Cosmetics provided make-up touchups.
