Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z Announced for PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and Xbox 360

Namco Bandai announced today from the Tokyo Game Show their upcoming title, Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z. The new game will release for PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and Xbox 360 in early 2014 and allow players to battle it out with their favorite Dragon Ball Z characters in up to eight player online battles in cooperative matches for the first time ever.



Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z will feature nearly every character from the entire Dragon Ball Z series and will allow for strange teams of combatants including the various forms of Goku and Freiza. The single player campign in the game will feature over 60 missions and epic boss encounters against massive foes that will require a team of warriors to defeat. The fighting game's roster will include over 70 different warriors including characters from the newest Dragon Ball Z films and series. Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z is now available for preorder from select retailers for the MSRP of $59.99 and is scheduled to release for PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and Xbox 360 in early 2014.
