EA Sports UFC Looks Amazing in Pre-Alpha Gameplay Footage

EA Sports UFC debuted some pre-alpha gameplay footage for the next generation title at the recent Gamescom event, and needless to say, the game looks spectacular while running on the all new EA Sports Ignite graphics engine. The game features an all new look that makes key elements of the fighter change during the fight including the damage a fighter sustains during fights, the visible impact of a landed strike or the strain of a fighter that is fully exerting himself during a takedown or submission attempt.

Each of these features are shown in the new trailer below as Light Heavyweight Champion Jon "Bones" Jones faces off with Alexander "The Mauler" Gustafsson. Our tale of the tape shows that the fighter models are easily the best ever seen in a UFC game, while there is still plenty of room for improvement in the game's presentation that currently lacks an arena, fans and other key elements. EA Sports UFC isn't scheduled to arrive for next generation consoles until Spring 2014, so we can't wait to see where the game goes from here!

EA Sports UFC is now available for preorder from most major retailers for the MSRP of $59.99 and is scheduled to release for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in Spring 2014. EA Sports UFC is not yet rated. For more information on the game, check out the official EA Sports UFC website.
