Getting On is a new comedy series coming to HBO beginning in November of this year. The series will be based on a highly popular British comedy show and comes from the creators of the HBO series Big Love. Getting On is scheduled to debut on HBO starting Sunday, November 24, 2013 at 10PM ET/PT and will be the first of a six-episode season.
Getting On stars actors Laurie Metcalf, Alex Borstein, Niecy Nash and Mel Rodriguez in a show set in a women's extended-care facility that takes a look at the daily lives of put-upon nurses and doctors with plenty of dark humor. The fictional Long Beach hospital is inspired by the everyday healthcare of the elderly in hospitals around the country, and there will be plenty of guest stars on the show to help lighten the mood including Molly Shannon, Daniel Stern, Harry Dean Stanton, June Squibb and Irma P. Hall. Don't miss the debut of Getting On in November only on HBO!
