Madden NFL 25 is Best-Selling Game for August

Developer and publisher EA Sports has announced their new release of Madden NFL 25 was the best-selling video game for any platform during the month of August. The game sold more than one million copies during its first week of release (August 27-September 2). The new release introduces plenty of new features to the series including the all new Madden Ultimate Team and Connected Franchise modes, and you can learn more about the game by reading our Madden NFL 25 review.

EA Sports also revealed several amazing statistics from the first week of Madden NFL 25's release including a combined play time of over six million hours in the first week alone. It was also revealed that the most played matchup during the span was the NFC West rivals Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers. Madden Ultimate Team was one of the most played game modes with players opening more than 3.3 million packs during the first week as well. Madden NFL 25 is now available from all major retailers for the MSRP of $59.99 and can be purchased for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and is coming soon to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
