Powerocks is a company that has been around since the early 2000s, and the company has developed and distributed several high technology gadgets that consumers should be aware of. The new innovation from the company comes in the form of an easily portable powerbank that works with most mobile and other electronic devices to provide a rechargeable energy source on the go. The Magicstick Powerbank 2800 is an innovative product, and you'd be doing yourself a favor to pick up one of the new gadgets today if you travel frequently or often find yourself with the need for a charge for your phone or mobile device when there are no outlets handy.

Powerocks Magicstick works by charging up its internal energy source and then transferring its power to other devices. The Magicstick reaches a full charge of its 2800 mAh capacity in roughly 4 to 5 hours and can power up a full charge to other devices in around an hour. In our testing, it took a little over an hour to get a full charge on iOS devices but closer to half an hour to fully charge a cell phone. Of course, the Magicstick also allows the connected device to be used while charging, though it can reach a full charge faster when powered down while plugged in. The Magicstick connects via USB and works with nearly any device imaginable.

Powerocks Magicstick is compatible with most devices and brands such as Apple, Blackberry, LG, Nokia, Samsung and more. All of the devices we tested worked with the Magicstick, so it seems unlikely that there will be many new phones, MP3 players and other gadgets that do not work with the charger. A lithium ion battery is required to use and charge the device, but luckily, one comes in the retail packaging and it will likely be a while before a new battery is needed for the the Magicstick. A USB to micro-USB cord is also included in the packaging to assist with the transfer of power from the Magicstick to other electronic devices.

While there are plenty of other mobile batteries and charge sources available on the market, there are few that offer the stylish look and small size that the Powerocks Magicstick offers. The device measures to a 21.7mm diameter and stands just 86mm high. The unique design of the device is a small cylinder similar to a tube of lipstick or a cigar, and it can be purchased from a variety of color schemes and design choices from most retailers. There are six colors in the main lineup: Black, Blue, Gold, Purple, Red and White. Different patterns are available for the Magicstick as well, but no matter what color the device, it always looks really nice beside any other mobile device and fits easily in purses or carry on bags.
