Tekunodo Co.,Ltd. has begun worldwide distribution of "Smart Minesweeper", a free touch panel mine sweeper game for the iPhone. With this title, conventional mine sweeper controls, such as planting flags by holding or switching modes, are revised from the ground up. It has been reconfigured so that flags are planted semi-automatically in places where mines clearly exist, and the thrill of unlocking squares can be enjoyed while the player's focus remains on deduction. Only places in which the square numbers and surrounding mine numbers are uniform are automated, so it will not spoil the original mine sweeper game characteristics.
When a numbered square is tapped, if the number of the surrounding mines and square numbers are the same, then the remaining squares will be unlocked. Because flag planting is semi-automatic, players can progress through the game swiftly by simply tapping numbered squares. With a tutorial and easy controls, players who are discouraged by other mine sweeper games can surely play to the end with this title. Set in ‘Easy Mode’, the game can be completed within 10 seconds!
