Stardock Corporation today announced the formation of its newly formed mobile unit, Stardock Mobile. The new division will bring original strategy games to mobile devices starting next month when Dead Man’s Draw is released for iOS in the Apple store. Dead Man’s Draw is an entirely new and captivating card game designed by the minds behind the award-winning Galactic Civilization and Fallen Enchantress games.
“The goal at Stardock is to create great strategy games – whether that’s on a PC, phone or tablet,” said Derek Paxton, vice president at Stardock. “Dead Man’s Draw focuses the decisions of a strategy game to that single moment where you either commit to jump off the cliff, or back off and play it safe, all within a game that only takes a few minutes to play.”
Stardock Mobile’s first release, Dead Man’s Draw, blends strategic gameplay with timeless card game fun. Drawing from the best elements of the puzzle, strategy and classic card games, Dead Man’s Draw is a new take on the genre: Swords steal, maps uncover, and cannons blast as you battle against a wide variety of pirates with different traits and abilities.
