Starpoint Gemini 2 Only $19.99 On Steam Early Access

Iceberg Interactive and LGM Games have announced the upcoming space simulation game, Starpoint Gemini 2, has reached Alpha stage on Steam Early Access. Fans can pick up the fun RPG title for $19.99 through the Early Access program which comes with an additional free game. Read on.

Video game publisher Iceberg Interactive and developer LGM Games are pleased to announce that the new and upcoming space simulation-RPG game, Starpoint Gemini 2, is now available in its Alpha stage on Steam’s Early Access. Starpoint Gemini 2 is the sequel to the original Starpoint Gemini, and in addition to an assortment of new features, this sequel answers many of the questions fans of the original posed.

“We are thrilled for our launch on Early Access today,” says Mario Mihokovic, CEO at LGM Games. “A significant part of Starpoint Gemini 2 was created by taking fan suggestions and improvements for the original game in mind. Now we have a chance to show our players how far we have come in implementing both our ideas and theirs in this much enhanced sequel. The new feedback we will receive through Early Access will be invaluable in finalizing our vision for this new venture in the Gemini system.”

  • The complex, but easy-to-use RPG system, is now coupled with a dynamic real-time 3D combat
  • Players can explore the dynamic game world as a whole, rather than through individual maps
  • Use T-Gates, wormholes, and rift ways to travel faster around the Gemini system
  • Starpoint Gemini 2 offers 50 diverse factions ranging from states and companies to outlaws, locked in a power struggle, with more than 100 commodities to trade or plunder
  • Special revocable licenses acquired from factions offer various bonuses and unlock new options
  • Gamers can hire mercenary captains to follow them on their travels and share their fate, and employ officers to fill key positions on their ship (engineering, navigation, tactical)
  • Random missions get generated depending on the player's actions and allegiances
  • More than 70 unique ships, fully upgradeable with various ship systems, with a.o. visible turrets, and a large arsenal of destructive weapons to blast enemies to pieces
  • Direct ship controls create complete immersion
  • Advanced physics provided by NVIDIA PhysX technology

Starpoint Gemini 2 is available at a discounted Early Access price of $19.99 / $18.99, a price that also includes the full game version of Starpoint Gemini 1.
